Preschool Playgroup Program for 2-Year-Olds
Days: Wednesdays 9:15-10:45
Tuition: $315.00 -OR- $35.00 per month
Options: I Can Do It Myself
Child must be 2 by September 1. We would ask that you be working on potty training. Our 2-year-old playgroup provides a warm, nurturing introduction to preschool in a loving Christian environment. Through music, stories, sensory activities, art, and hands-on play, children begin developing important social, emotional, and communication skills while building confidence and independence. Our experienced teachers create a safe and welcoming classroom where toddlers learn through exploration, play, and meaningful interactions with their peers. This gentle introduction to early childhood education helps children become comfortable in a classroom setting while having fun every day.
Preschool Program for 3-Year-Olds
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:15 - 11:45 am
Tuition: $900.00 -OR- $100.00 per month

Tuition: $1260.00-OR- $140.00 per month
Child must be 3 years old by September 1. Child MUST be potty-trained. Our 3-year-old preschool program encourages children to explore, discover, and learn through a play-based curriculum designed for this exciting stage of development. Students build early literacy, math, science, and fine motor skills while participating in art, music, dramatic play, sensory experiences, and hands-on learning activities. As a preschool we also help children develop confidence, kindness, independence, and friendships while learning about God's love in age-appropriate ways.
Pre-K Program for 4-Year-Olds
Days: Monday - Thursday 9:15 - 11:45 am
Tuition: $1,575.00 -OR- $175.00 per month
Child must be 4 years old by September 1. Child MUST be potty-trained. Our 4-year-old preschool program prepares children for kindergarten through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that strengthen academic, social, and emotional skills. Children develop early reading, writing, math, science, and problem-solving abilities while participating in creative play, STEM activities, art, music, and outdoor exploration. Our experienced teachers encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independence while fostering a love of learning in a caring Christian environment.
Pre-K Program for 4 & 5-Year-Olds
Days: Monday - Thursday 9:15 - 11:45 am
Tuition: $1,575.00 -OR- $175.00 per month
Child must be 5 years old by September 1. Child MUST be potty-trained. Our Kindergarten Preparatory Program is designed to help children confidently transition to kindergarten by building strong academic foundations and essential life skills. Students strengthen early reading, phonics, handwriting, math, science, and critical thinking while learning to follow routines, work cooperatively, solve problems, and become independent learners. Just as importantly, we help children develop the confidence, responsibility, and social-emotional skills needed for long-term success in school. Families throughout Pittsburgh's South Hills choose North Zion Preschool because our kindergarten readiness program prepares children academically while nurturing their character and love of learning.
Tuition Policy
A one-time, non-refundable, Registration Fee of $30.00 per family must accompany the registration form in order to secure a class spot.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Any tuition paid for the YEAR by the first week of school receives a $25.00 discount. Tuition does not vary according to absences, vacations or days school is closed.
We offer a $10.00 discount per month for any additional siblings.
A one-time activity fee of $30.00 is collected in October in lieu of any fundraising. This is what makes our fun programs possible throughout the year.
Extended Day Enrichment Program
We are excited to be offering an extended day program for our students from 11:45 AM-2:30 PM for additional LEARNING activities based on a theme for the week.
Parents will be asked to provide a packed lunch for their child. Our Extended Day Enrichment Program, available from 11:45 AM to 2:30 PM, provides enrolled students with additional opportunities to learn, create, and explore beyond the traditional preschool day. Children enjoy enriching activities including STEM exploration, literacy centers, art projects, music, outdoor play, science experiments, dramatic play, and cooperative games that reinforce classroom learning while encouraging creativity and independence. The program also gives children additional time to strengthen friendships, build confidence, and develop important social and emotional skills in our safe, nurturing environment.
You will be able to have your child stay as often as you would like or need, either on a pre-registered basis ($10 a day) or as a “drop-in” ($12) when needed.
