Our Staff

We are so very excited about our staff members. With over 100 combined years of working with children from preschool through elementary school, they are a dedicated, caring, nurturing and enthusiastic group!

Their goal is to make your child's first learning experiences both fun and productive, preparing them for greater things as he/she enters the world of "higher" education.

Through a variety of educational backgrounds and life experiences, they all strive to make your child's first exposure to learning an enjoyable and creative experience.

We would like you to meet them:

Angie joined our staff in 2020 as a teacher for one of our classes for 3's, and we are so glad she did.

Angela's love of teaching children is evident in her gentle, calm approach, as well as in her creativity in lesson plans, making their first steps on their learning journey most enjoyable.

Angela and her husband live in Whitehall with their daughter, Alison.

Elaine has taught for over 20 years at NZP and loves teaching and preparing "her kids" for the next big step - kindergarten!

Elaine's goal is to prove to the children that learning can be fun!

Amanda is a teacher for the 3's program. Amanda, her husband and their son live in Brentwood. She recently earned her degree in early childhood education. She has worked in childcare, education and special needs environments for 5 years. She enjoys working with children and helping them grow and develop a love for learning

Susan holds a degree in elementary education from Pitt Johnstown and taught at Tendercare for 12 years. She enjoys working with children and loves helping them get off to a good start as the begin their learning journey.

Liz attended art school after high school and enjoys helping the students do crafts and be creative. Liz said that the preschool is the most enjoyable job she has ever had, The children are so eager to learn and so proud when they accomplish something new, that it is amazing to be a part of it all.

Ali is an aide in Miss Amanda's class. She is a freshman at Penn State

We are excited to have Katie as a new member of our staff. Katie and her husband, Dan, have 2 children, Joshua and Grace (both North Zion graduates) and live in South Park. Katie is thrilled to be able to help our students get ready for kindergarten.

Amber, her two children, and their dog live in Brentwood. For several years Amber has worked at Children's Hospital on the Neurology, Orthopedic and Trauma floor. Amber is bringing her experience and knowledge, along with her enthusiasm to teach our students that learning can be fun. We believe she will be a great addition to our staff.
